• Birth weight: 76 lbs.
• JDM Lucy 802F is a big-topped, deep flanked, smooth
made docile, April heifer that you will appreciate for
her flawless structure. This long-bodied heifer blends
in a beautiful neck and head to make a total package.
You will look far and wide to find a heifer this feminine
that also has the muscle expression Lucy does.
• Lucy’s dam was purchased at the 2012 NILE female sale
from Olson Cattle Company, St. Ignatius, MT and was
shown successfully at the 2013 Angus Futurity. She has
gone on to be a very sound, excellent uddered cow recording
4 calves (excluding 802F) at 102 average nursing ratio
and 5 calves (including 802F) at 370 day calving interval.
Powerful sustainable maternal genetics.
• Lucy’s sire, Sitz Royal 9784 was the leadoff and 2nd
top selling bull at the 2015 Sitz Angus Bull Sale.
Royal was our selection for his length of body,
muscling and calm demeanor. However, Royal’s individual
performance really set him above the pack.
At the Big Dry, Royal has proven himself as a breeding
bull, with the top selling and 3 of the top 5 top selling
bulls sired by Royal at the 2018 Big Dry Bull Sale.
Royals EPD’s have continued to improve with each
calf crop at the Big Dry, Sydenstricker’s and Sitz’s.
