Green Ranch Targhee is excited to again be a part of the Ewe sale and will be offering 10 head of NSIP Yearling Targhee Ewes. Our yearling ewes are range raised and ready to go, we expect them to thrive and grow in our native ranch environment, only feeding on native rangeland and hay/alfalfa mix, with some sheep cake supplement through the winter.
These 10 head of premium Targhee ewes have an average micron of 20.7, which is close to our annual flock average which will have a 62% yield. With an average Range Index of 107.67 these 10 have EBV’s for lamb growth and Heavy Fleeces. When selecting replacement Ewes, we look for excellent Maternal traits as well as balanced structure and strive to offer the same in Ewe’s we sell.
