Forty home raised yearling ewes are our consignment this year. They have spent the summer competing with grasshoppers on native grass. Their mothers are shed lambed and will follow their lambs into a jug. These sheep are mild mannered and easy to work with, will follow a feed pickup anywhere and know how to eat pellets. They were shorn May 2nd. The 2023 wool clip was 17.8 micron and 60.5% yield.
Sires are fine wooled rams purchased at MWGA Ram Sales. Mothers of these sheep have all been home raised as we have not purchased a female sheep in over 30 years.
