We are a Fifth Generation, Polled, Registered Rambouillet sheep ranch located in Lavina, Montana.
● Shed lamb 2300 commercial ewes and 170 registered ewes in April with over 160% lamb crop
● NSIP and EBVs used in selection process for lambing rate, wool quality, and carcass quality for over the past 15 years.
● Ewes/lambs herded with livestock protection dogs on grass during summer months
● All ewes have been herded in large bands on native grassland over the summer
o Yearling Wool – 18.0 micron, 59.4% yield
o A line – 20.0 micron, 59.2% yield
● 100 Off-site commercial ewes will be available for shipment after the September sale at the ranch.
