Seventy five head of commercial heifers will also be sold at this sale. Brian and Susan Sarsland have wintered 50 of them for us and the rest of them have been at home here on pasture with hay and lick barrels. Some of the heifers are Angus/Hereford cross Angus/cross. When we fill the quota of our need in the registered herd, we put the excess cows with Hereford bulls and have the resulting females in our sale.
