We were working on making Gavin a Beef FFA project and were petty sure the
AI didn’t take when a 76 pound jet black calf showed up since we turned out
bulls the same day we AIed the cow. This calf has been a stand out in the pen
since turn out last spring especially in the backend and across the top. Had
we got the DNA back result back in time he would have made a nice prospect
steer.
