2016 GRADE Bay Roan Mare

Gaited Mare | Smooth • Dependable • Trail-Tested. Chili Bean is the kind of mare that turns heads — not just for her striking appearance, but for her unshakable confidence and trustworthy nature. She’s as comfortable on a steep mountain trail as she is riding through town traffic, and she’s done it all with a calm, collected attitude that makes her a barn favorite. This forward-moving, endurance-minded mare has an incredibly smooth gait that she holds naturally and comfortably for long rides. Chili is the definition of surefooted — confidently navigating rough terrain, water crossings, bridges, and tunnels without hesitation. Whether she’s cruising down the road, crossing a river, or weaving through chaos downtown, she’s relaxed and ready for the job. She’s also wonderfully responsive to cues: Chili stops off voice and seat, lopes off easily, and maneuvers with softness and balance. In the arena, she’s smart and willing — currently finishing up liberty training and showing great potential with her arena tricks. She knows how to carry a flag, walk over tarps, and drag obstacles with confidence and ease. This mare has safely carried riders of all levels, including kids and beginners, and has been a trusted partner for teaching and trail rides alike. She’s personable, easy to catch, gets along with other horses and livestock, and stands quietly for the vet and farrier. Barefoot or shod, she has great hard feet and is easy to haul and handle. Chili Bean is the complete package: Safe, experienced, versatile, and full of personality. Whether you’re looking for a seasoned trail companion or a fun, flashy horse to enjoy around the ranch or arena — she’s the one you’ve been waiting for. Will hold for one week. We have a list of haulers we can recommend and we haul privately as well.
