Duke and Doc have been my feed team for the last couple of winters. They have a good verbal whoa, when feeding you can just tie the lines and pitch hay as they walk. Long legged and fast walking they’ll really cover the ground and pull a heavy load. No balk, no quit, these boys just go. They’ve never had a runaway but they’re not a beginners team, they need to be driven not just sit on the wagon with slack lines. Previous owner used them at public events like corn shucking contests and plow days, but I haven’t had them out in public myself. They mouth at 12 and 13 years old.
