Heifer Calf - Feddes Cattle Company - Jake & Alyssa Feddes
162 is a heifer that is doing everything
right. Her dam was our pick of the cows
in the Jacobson dispersal. She has a great
phenotype and a production record to
match, with an MPPA of 103. 5077 has
a great udder, feet and legs, with a nice
clean front end and breeds back earlier
and earlier every year. 162’s sire, Feddes
Treadstone 9352, was our second high
selling bull in 2020 going to Leland Red
Angus. Treadstone is one of those very rare
bulls that combines calving ease, growth,
carcass, maternal and comes from a great
cow family with perfect udders. His EPD’s
are unmatched when combining growth,
carcass, and maternal traits. Almost every
Treadstone calf made it into the “BIG”
pen of bulls and heifers this spring. We are
extremely excited about our Treadstone
progeny. We used him very heavy again
this year on heifers and cows. This heifer is
extremely hard to let go for out herd, as she
is exactly what we have been breeding for.
However, we are excited to watch what she
does in another herd.
