Heifer Calf - Heart River Red Angus - Chuck & Annette Steffan
HRR Freyja 107 is a dark red show heifer
prospect, with a great disposition and a
maternal genealogy to support making her a
future cornerstone brood matron. She is out
of our junior herd sire, Ridge RAD 9075,
and a first calf heifer, HRR Freyja 9177.
Both stem from solid maternal dams, that
sport impeccable performance rations with
longevity. Consider Ridge Casey 8034, the
paternal granddam with a highly regarded
EPD’s and 104 MPPA on 12 natural calves
and 364 day calving interval. Ridge Casey
8034 is still in production at Sand Bur Ridge
Red Angus in Nebraska and is A.I. bred for
spring. The maternal granddam, HRR Freyja
308, was a prolific donor with 8 natural
offspring and 25 ET offspring showing a 104
MPPA and great ratios. HRR Freyja 107
started life at 70 pounds and ranked in the
top end of her contemporaries at weaning.
Look no further for a phenotypic stand out
with a wide stance, extra rib and dimension,
with the potential to carry on her maternal
legacy.
