Hughes Newford Co. - 10 HD Targhee Yearlings
Hughes Newford, John & Betty Sampsel, Stanford, MT, yearling ewes grown on the foothills of the Little Belts and are a B-Ovis-free sheep flock. Our ewes had an average of 20.1-micron wool clip. Born in May and shorn the following March, they are summered with the ewes and lambs on native range, including grazing leafy spurge. A range-raised sheep that combines strong wool production with the hardiness and adaptability needed to thrive under practical Montana conditions.
