Heifer Bull. I would never say that an individual out of a five-year-old cow would be a herd bull. But I will tell you that if this bull's mother was eight years old or older, I would consider him in that category. Actually, I am lying to you because he would not even be in the sale and he would be staying here.
He is constantly striking a pose with his head up and walks out square on all four corners. An absolutely straight top line. His mother is an outstanding individual in every category. The summer she raised this bull she was bitten by a rattlesnake and her face swelled up double in size and still raised the hell out of this calf. I thought for sure she would be open but again I was wrong. This bulls grandmother, and great grandmother are what I would call my ideal cows. Last year I started a line breeding project. This bull's grandmother and great grandmother are the two individuals that will be the base of this entire project. He was also the second highest, gaining individual on grass.
