• Basin Lucy 1E87 is a powerful, deep bodied, balanced trait daughter of Basin Lucy 1037. Basin Lucy 1037 had a very prolific and productive tenure at Basin Angus and Montana Ranch. Now at 10 years of age, she is a featured Donor at Ankony Angus in Georgia.
• Maternal sisters to Basin Lucy 1E87 include Basin Lucy 4288, the top selling female of the 2020 NILE Angus Female Sale.
• Basin Angus has weaned 20 embryo progeny from Basin Lucy 1E87 this fall, including a very strong group of full siblings to this embryo package. With an even greater number of embryo progeny due in 2022, Basin Lucy 1E87 is a major building block in the currect Basin Angus program.
• Basin Freedom F361 is a light birth, high growth, balanced trait young sire that has seen heavy use in the Basin program. His progeny have a tremendous look, with exceptional length and added muscle, and are performing as expected. The first 49 calves weaned are averaging 99 for birth weight ratio and 101 for weaning weight ratio.
