Montana Agriculture Experiment Station - 10 HD Western Whiteface Yearlings
The Montana Ag Experiment Station Western White Face yearling ewe consignments are a Targhee/Rambouillet/SAMM cross from sires sourced at the Montana Ram Sale for generations. These will be low input, moderate framed older style commercial, fine wool ewes bred for the drier, rocky conditions at MAES Red Bluff. Our mature ewes will average around 150 pounds at turnout to summer range, shear a sub-21-micron clip and drop around 140% lamb crop. Ewes are wintered on minimal inputs and expected to forage.
