Montana Sheep Co. - 10 HD Targhee Yearlings
Montana Sheep Company – Ewes are from an NSIP enrolled and U.S. Targhee Sheep Association registered flock. We expect our ewes to be good mothers the first time and every time. Consigned are 10 Targhee ewes from a B. ovis free flock that have been ultrasounded for eye muscle depth and sampled for wool evaluation. Yearling flock averaged 21.6 microns, 98.4% comfort factor, and 27 YEMD. Expect a 175% drop. Ewes will milk well and have good udder construction. No eye problems. Raised with guard dogs. Herded and grazed on native pasture, leafy spurge, and knapweed this summer in the Blackfoot. Back poured and first vaccinations (Campylobacter, and Chlamydia) for breeding. Thick bodied and structurally correct. Shorn April 12th.
