“Clarke” is a dearly beloved gelding who would happily identify as a people-pleasing chocolate Lab — he’ll keep you safe and smiling. Kind, willing, and
exceptionally smart, he combines a gentle disposition with a powerhouse physique at 15.2hh. Clarke has been shown in both the cow horse and Versatility
Ranch Horse arenas. He has dragged calves to the fi re and trailed many miles behind cattle through rough terrain. Started right and exposed to every job on
the ranch, he’s just as happy being a trail horse as he is stepping up and heading to the show pen. He has a delightful spin, stops hard and straight, and has his
fl ying lead changes. Give him permission, and he’ll run down a cow anytime - anywhere. Clarke rides one-handed in the bridle, yet he’s equally content easing
around bareback or swimming through the watering hole in a halter. This is the kind of horse you can teach a maneuver to and have it mastered in the same
ride. He’s the fi rst to meet you in a big pasture, genuinely enjoys having a job, and is truly the same horse whether you ride him once a day or once a year.
Clarke is only offered for sale because of a major career change in his owner’s life. He is a once-in-a-lifetime gelding who deserves the very best.

ALL PURCHASES MUST BE MADE WITH A CREDIT CARD or BANK WIRE (bank letter of credit must be sent to sugarbarssale@gmail.com prior to the sale for those wishing to do a wire transfer. HORSE(S) WILL NOT BE LOADED OUT UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. SALE STAFF WILL CALL YOU FOR PAYMENT INFORMATION. CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED IMMEDIATELY- VISA, MASTERCARD, AND DISCOVER; BANK WIRES MUST BE SENT ON MONDAY FOLLOWING THE SALE.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: Terms of sale are cash, personal check, cashier’s check (U.S. Funds), credit cards (with 4.5% convenience fee added). In addition to cost of horse, brand inspection fee & health inspection fee for each horse purchased. Each animal sells to the highest bidder with auctioneer settling bidding disputes. Registration paper and transfer will be given to the buyer at the sale- if ALL information is complete on the transfer- including the sellers’, the horses’, the sale and the buyer’s information. All incomplete transfers will be held along with the registration paper, until the secretary is contacted with the complete buyer information. Any consignors that do not have registration papers back from AQHA need to mail them to SBLS Secretary, and then they will be sent onto the buyer, along with the transfer. Announced catalog changes on sale day take precedence over this printed book. Horses will sell in catalog order unless otherwise specified. A Wyoming Veterinarian and Wyoming State Brand Inspector will be at the sale to assist buyers. ALL horses sell with a negative Coggins test and current health papers. We strongly encourage buyers to carefully inspect the horses before bidding. There are no further guarantees unless specified by seller. All horses are buyer’s property as soon as sold; and buyer assumes all liability & expense. No delivery is available until final settlement on all purchases. Consignors will provide a Halter and lead rope for each horse sold.
