♦A really soggy, thick butted, long topped bull. He is quite possibly the widest topped bull in here. This is the look of good gaining, easy fleshing type cattle. The growth numbers are in the upper 35% of the breed. A pot load of steers like this one would be a good bet. It will be interesting to see where the carcass shakes out on this one.
♦7007 posted a BW of 72 with NR 107. A stout built cow that is not overly large; level udder with longer teats; big hip capacity. This cow held her condition pretty well in a drought. She has strong economic traits and great stayability. This cow line originated out of the BJR herd in 1991; 7007 is 5th generation. These were high volume cows with lots of milk.
