♦This bull and Lot 236 are 7/8 brothers and they look very much alike. Yep, this one has a bit more BW and is a little bigger, but that would be expected from this cow line; just don’t dump him in your heifers. On mature cows, he will be fine and add some value to the calves. He is a really soggy bull; deep, wide, thick and meaty are all great adjectives here; certainly a standout in the group.
♦Here is that ‘Passion’ cow family again. They do pack a punch on the performance side of things. The dam here has breed leading growth numbers; WW 67 / 21%, YW 117 / 9% & ADG 0.31 / 4%. The MGD 5017 does push some BW, but also strong growth. She produced a top selling, high performance bull as a 1st calf heifer; and has had heifer calves since.
