2018 GRADE Paint Mare

6 Year-Old paint mare | Handy • Broke • Ranch Versatility Prospect. Versace is a 6-year-old 15.2 hand liver chestnut paint mare with a sharp mind, exceptional start, and an all-business attitude under saddle. With her strong foundation, stylish color, and impressive handle, she’s well on her way to being an outstanding all-around or ranch versatility prospect. This mare is built right and trained right. She’s already put in plenty of miles — from long arena sessions to navigating busy town settings. She’s calm and confident around traffic, bikes, dogs, strollers, and unpredictable environments, taking everything in stride with a level head and quiet focus. Under saddle, Versace has an excellent handle. She has a smooth, balanced walk, jog, and lope, moves easily off leg pressure, and is naturally soft in the bridle. She’s developing a stylish spin, backs with ease, sidepasses, and has a confident, smooth stop that makes her a pleasure to ride. She neck reins cleanly, stays collected, and is well on her way to being a finished horse. She’s also been started around cattle — she’s seen time in the sorting pen, has had a rope thrown off her, and shows the kind of feel that would suit ranch riding, versatility work, or cow horse training. She’s confident around flags, tarps, and obstacles and always steps up to the challenge. Versace is the kind of horse that gets noticed — not just for her eye-catching paint color, but for her attentive attitude and natural athleticism. She’s willing, trainable, and shows up to work with a good mind and a lot of try. Whether you’re looking for a ranch partner, a versatility mount, or a young, broke mare with a bright future, Versace is the total package and ready to go in any direction. Come meet her in person — she’s the kind of mare that only gets better the more you ride her. Will hold for one week. We have a list of haulers we can recommend and we haul privately as well.
